While gradually the tenets of Texas Modernism were introduced in his earlier Spanish Colonial, Mediterranean, and Louisiana style homes, the home he designed on McFarlin Boulevard in University Park became the Texas Modern visual starting place for an architectural tradition that has flourished for 90 years.
