The Fashionistas Have a Party in Downtown Dallas at The House

Samar Opening in Downtown Dallas

Stephan Pyles, a celebrated Texas chef, welcomed his friends and patrons from across the city: Highland Park, University Park, Preston Hollow, Turtle Creek, East Dallas, Greenway Parks, Bent Tree, and Oak Cliff. This new restaurant in the heart of downtown Dallas, across from the Dallas Arts District, is another example of the new vibrancy in the center of Dallas. Samar and the surrounding spaces were packed as people were eager to congratulate Stephan and see the new restaurant. The sophisticated and stylish crowd was surprised but enjoyed the belly dancing at the end of the evening.

Dallas AIA Awards at Victory Park

The Dallas Chapter of AIA presented Honor and Merit Awards to architects for both commercial and residential projects in downtown Dallas. The stunning architectural work was presented on the big outdoor screen in front of AmericanAirlines Center at Victory Plaza. This was an energetic location next to the W hotel and residences with the new highrise The House in the background and concert goers streaming into the arena to see Pink. These architectural awards are also a great time to meet or say hello to many of Dallas’saward winningarchitects, including Ron Wommack, Corky Cunningham, Russell Buchanan, Max Levy, Dan Shipley and many others.
